Erith Town 4-0 Hassocks

A dominant and skilful showing from The Dockers put them deservedly through to the next round after an emphatic 4-0 victory over Hassocks FC this evening at Stanmore Contractors Limited Stadium.

Erith took the lead in the 28th minute through midfielder James Miles and further goals from Jack Holland (37) and Tom Ash (45) gave The Dockers a 3 goal cushion at the break.

Erith continued to dominate in the second half, playing some fluent football and capitalising on their dominance with a wonderful jinking run and finish from forward Ollie Milton to make it 4-0.

The match continued to flow with Erith pressing for a fifth and not allowing Hassocks any chances or even a sniff of a comeback, but The Dockers eventually had to settle for a fine 4-0 victory.

Erith now move into the next round where they face Burgess Hill Town away on Saturday 19 August 2023.
