Dockers Debate is an FCA Awards Finalist!
We are delighted to announce that Erith Town Football Club have made the final shortlist for this year’s Football Content Awards (FCAs).
The annual award ceremony, which awards some of the best national and international content from some of the world’s biggest clubs, and The Dockers have been nominated in the following categories:
Best Football Club – Non-League – Erith Town
Best in Non-League – Podcast – The Dockers Debate
Speaking of the nomination, The Dockers Debate founder, Michael Avery said, “When we first started The Dockers Debate, it was a way to highlight the work the club do behind the scenes, getting to the know the people involved at the club who work so tirelessly to run the club day-to-day and raise some money for local causes. Not only did we never imagine we would have had the impact we have had at the club or the number of listeners we have had, but to be nominated for an FCA is absolutely amazing. To be shortlisted for an FCA is something that we never thought would happen, and the fact the club themselves have also been nominated shows the work and energy that has been put into our content over the last 12-18 months. Along with my two co-hosts, Rob and Chris, I’d like to say a huge well done to everyone at the club who have helped the club to be on the short list, and also Nick Hart from Achtung! Millwall who allows us the platform to be able to host our show.”
Voting for the FCAs open at midday on Monday 23rd September and close at midnight on Sunday 13th September. You can vote at the link here: https://footballcontentawards.com/voting/
