Tommy Crush Youth Ambassador at Erith Town
Erith Town are proud to announce that a member of our KYL team, Frankie Wood, has taken on a youth ambassador role for the club to help with the work of the Tommy Crush foundation.
The Tommy Crush foundation is an organisation that helps young people improve their mental health if they are struggling in their lives, and also assist those who are feeling vulnerable.
Sporting Club Thamesmead Reserves manager, Marc Petters, who works as an ambassador for the Tommy Crush foundation said, “I am so pleased to have someone like Frankie who wants to get involved in the charity. It’s also great for the younger players at the club to have someone they can relate to better than an adult, and we feel this is another great step forward for Erith Town and the Tommy Crush foundation to continue to grow links and help young people to improve their mental health.”
Frankie followed this by saying, “I am very excited and looking forward to start in this new role as youth ambassador, and I can’t wait to get going and help fellow youth players.”
On behalf of Erith Town, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Frankie for taking the role, and are very proud of this appointment.
