With the Office team in red and the Site team in yellow, the stage was set for a brilliant match and it didn’t disappoint! The Site team got off to an amazing start, racing into a solid 4–0 lead by half-time, showing great teamwork, strength and resilience. But the Office team wasn’t giving up too easily. Early in the second half, they pulled off an impressive comeback, scoring three quick goals to bring it back to 4–3. The game opened up and after some end-to-end play and great effort from both sides, the Site team wrapped things up with two late goals, finishing the game 6–3. It was a match to remember, competitive, high-energy, and full of good football, played in great spirit from start to finish. For Statom it was also a chance to bring people from across the business together to enjoy some friendly competition, share a few laughs, and support a meaningful cause.

Statom’s own Josh Ledger had this to say after the game
“I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone at Erith Town Football Club, especially Mark and Adam, who every year help get this event off the ground. Nothing is ever too much – whether it’s pre-match supplies, equipment for the game, or post-match pizzas and refreshments, it’s always hugely appreciated.
A massive thank you to everyone who got involved! Whether you played, volunteered, donated or cheered from the sidelines, your support means a lot to us and even more to Bexley Food Bank. We’re proud of the incredible effort from all involved and we’re already looking forward to the next one! ”
