Erith Town Presents Moorings Sociable Club With Food Voucher

Erith Town’s Head of of Youth & Community presents the voucher.

Erith Town today presented the Moorings Sociable Club in Thamesmead with a food voucher from a local supermarket, a voucher to help towards the hard work that they do for those in the local area.

Based in Arnott Close in Thamesmead, only a stone’s throw from the Stanmore Stadium, the Moorings Sociable Club is a place for local residents to socialise and for young families to have fun, but it’s also a hub where many come to learn and develop new skills which will help them in the future. There are a wide range of facilities within the Moorings Sociable Club for use by those who visit, and the money donated by the club was from our competition and raffle at our recent Community Day fixture.

We would like to thank our mini-soccer sponsor WJ King for their support and generosity with the money that was raised from their car competition at the game, as well as those who donated prizes to our raffle. A total of £135 was raised on the day, and we are delighted to be able to continue to help support those in the local community.
