Erith Town awarded Two Star Accreditation in FA England Football.
Erith Town are delighted to announce we have been awarded Two Stars in the FA England football accreditation.
The club has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes over the last several years to improve our accreditation and showing that Erith Town is the place for talent in the local area to be a part of and develop.
The accreditation is not just awarded for player pathway, but also for how the club operates on a day-to-day basis, the level of coaching we provide, and how seriously and thoroughly we take our Safeguarding and Disciplinary procedures.

Speaking of Two-Star accreditation, Club Chairman, Kevin Morris said, “It’s no secret how everyone at this club wants us to go to the next level – and we mean every aspect of the club.
“When we moved to the Stanmore Stadium, we had a long-term plan of where we wanted the club to be, and this accreditation highlights just some of the hard work a lot of people behind the scenes have been putting in.
“I always refer to when Club Owner, Mark Deveney and then-manager, Adam Woodward first arrived at the club with just a handful of items and a couple of footballs, and now we have youth teams across multiple ages in the Selkent League, Junior Premier League and Kent Youth League, and a reserve team in the Kent County League.
“We have a fantastic structure now at executive level with a fully dedicated Youth Welfare Officer, a community liaison for our community outreach and an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion officer for everyone to speak with and feel welcome at Erith Town.
“We are also putting plans in place for more youth teams next season, and the introduction of female-only football teams for the first time in our history.
“This Two-Star accreditation is a fantastic recognition of hard work from a lot of people over the years, but it is just the start for The Dockers.”
| A Two-Star FA England Football Accreditation requires clubs to have a complete player pathway in either male, female, or disability football (U7-Adult), plus at least one team in an alternative pathway. Key criteria include having a Club Welfare Officer, qualified coaches (minimum Intro to Coaching Football), in-date First Aid and Safeguarding training, FA DBS checks, and compliant Respect codes of conduct. |
