Dockers Force Midweek FA Cup Replay With Sevenoaks

Harry Gamble grabbed a late equaliser in our Emirates FA Cup preliminary round match with  Sevenoaks Town at the weekend, setting up a replay for this Wednesday, 25th August, 7:30pm at Erith Stadium.

The Dockers found themselves a goal down after the first minute when a poor back pass was pounced on by the home team and drilled past Jack Moore, but it was honours even at half-time after a goalmouth scramble saw Tolulope Jonah snatch an equaliser.

Losing Harry Lawrence on 64 minutes put a 10-man Dockers on the back foot, and  Sevenoaks went in front from a penalty after a harsh decision saw Jude Jeffrey adjudged to have handled the ball in the area. Oaks’ joy was short-lived however when substitute  Ryan Mahal set up Harry gamble minutes later and his drilled shot levelled things up for the second time and assured the visitors of a replay.
