ASG Become a Dockers’ Community Partner

Erith Town FC today can announce an exciting new community partnership with local gymnastics centre, Active Sports Group (ASG).  With multiple sites across South East London and Kent, and their Thamesmead site being within just one mile of our home at the Stanmore Stadium.

ASG are a fantastic hub of multiple activities for children of all ages, and their building in Byron Close, SE28 is well known in the local area for being a large gymnasium for young people to have fun and learn new skills in the world of indoor gymnastics.

Speaking of the new partnership, Head of Youth & Community, Michael Avery said, “I have known of ASG for a while now, and know people who have visited their gym in Thamesmead and have had a wonderful time. 

When I met the team at ASG to discuss the community work that they and the club could potentially do together, I was instantly drawn to their passion for helping people develop their goals and futures in sporting activities – something that fits exactly with what we are working so hard to achieve at Erith Town. 

By having such similar traits in wanting to do what’s best for the local residents, helping them develop skills and take the next step in their sporting lives, it really made perfect sense for us both to work together.”

This is a partnership that we at the club are very excited about, and we feel that both ASG and Erith Town will create a partnership and long term project that will benefit those in Erith, Thamesmead and the surrounding areas.
