Dockers Sign Keeper From Derby County

Erith Town can today confirm the loan signing of 19-year-old shot-stopper Josh Shattell from Derby County.

Shattell joined Derby County’s Under-18s squad as a first-year scholar in the summer of 2022 and moved up to the Under-21s ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. He has previously been on the books at Tooting and Mitcham United before joining Derby’s Academy. Josh played nine times in total for Derby’s Under-18s in 2022/23, then in 2023/24 had a spell on loan at Forest Green Rovers and made one further appearance for the Under-18s.

Josh will go straight into the first team squad and everyone at the Dockers wishes him all the best during his time here in SE28.
